Life On The 48th Floor

Water boils faster up here. It\’s true!

The Da Vinci Code

is detailed here. The score was pleasant, as was some of the sweeping camera work inside the "scar on the face of Paris".

IMDB users rate it at 6.1 out of 10. Hrmph. That's generous. Still, the 2.5 hours did not seem to drag (except for the first 30 mins or so when the air conditioning tried to keep up with the sold-out crowd).

I spent the last 24 hours trying to recall memorable bits from the show. Sadly (or not), I failed and must now conclude that it was no better than a 2.5 hour nap. However, it being a 150-minute movie does give it a better dollar per minute value.

Seen at GV Grand, screen 6, K14-18. Trailers – Cars, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and possibly Over The Hedge and X-Men: Last Stand (we were talking lots before the movie).

[Edit on 24 May – an appropriate treatment]
